Steve Gabrys, CQE, P.Eng., is an experienced quality management professional with a robust background in engineering and supplier quality. Currently serving as the Manager of Quality Assurance and Control at Hevvy/Toyo Pumps North America Corporation as of November 2024, Steve has previously held positions such as Quality Assurance Manager at Saltworks Technologies and Quality Manager at Genesis Robotics & Motion Technologies. With extensive experience in developing quality processes, managing quality teams, and implementing ISO standards, Steve has a proven track record of driving quality initiatives in both start-up and established environments. Prior roles include significant contributions at Ballard Power Systems, where Steve specialized in supplier quality and product development, alongside a foundational engineering role at TransCanada focusing on corrosion protection.
