James Abbott-Thompson

James Abbott-Thompson is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in strategy consulting, policy advisement, and data protection. Currently serving as a Strategy Consultant for Protect Black Women, James focuses on combating misogynoir and providing affordable counseling services for black women. As a Board Member at Flat 70 C.I.C., James advises on policy and legal matters for a community arts organization. Additionally, James has been a Consultant at HewardMills since July 2019, delivering data protection services to multinational clients. Previously, James held the position of First Secretary EU at the British Embassy in Rome, leading trade negotiations during Brexit, and has experience as a Privacy Consultant at GE Capital. Academically, James holds a BA and MA in Law from Trinity College Cambridge and has studied Italian Language and Literature at the Dante Alighieri School in Siena.
