David Viegas

David Viegas is currently the Director of Health, PE and Athletics at Hewlett-Woodmere UFSD. Prior to this role, David has held positions such as Administrative Dean of Students and Teacher at the Commack School District, Athletic Trainer at Island Sports Medicine/Mineola High School, and Clinical Athletic Trainer/Exercise Physiologist at Elite Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation/Patchogue Medford High School. With a background in athletic training and exercise physiology, David also served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at St. John's University. David holds a Master of Arts in Exercise Physiology/Physical Education from Adelphi University and an Advanced Certificate in School Building Leader/School District Leader from the College of St. Rose.
