Alex Woo

Alex Woo is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as Deputy CIO at Hex Trust since August 2022, a fully-licensed digital asset custodian with a global presence. Prior to this role, Alex held key positions such as Head of End User Services at OCBC Bank, the longest established bank in Singapore, and Director, Head of Asia IT Infrastructure and Operations at Värde Partners, a global alternative investment adviser. Alex’s career includes extensive experience at CLSA as Head of Workspace Technology and multiple roles at J.P. Morgan, including Associate in Enterprise Technology Services. Earlier career stages involved engineering positions at PCCW GLOBAL and programming at Hospitality Data Resources. Alex holds a B.Eng (1st Hons.) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London and an ACGI in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The City and Guilds Institute.
