Sara K.

Sara K. has an extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles.

Starting in 2011, Sara worked as a Research Assistant at Bryn Mawr College. Sara then moved on to The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas where they served as a Summer Research Fellow, conducting peptide binding assays and presenting their findings at a conference.

In 2013, Sara returned to Bryn Mawr College and took on the role of Student Researcher and Lab Teaching Assistant. Sara continued this work until 2014.

After that, Sara joined Adverum Biotechnologies, Inc. as a Research Associate. Sara worked in this company for several years, starting as a Research Associate I and eventually being promoted to Research Associate II.

In 2018, Sara ventured into freelance work as a UX/UI Designer, providing their services to various clients. During this time, they also joined Twist Bioscience as a Visual/UX Designer, designing products and later transitioning into a role as a Product Designer.

In 2022, Sara joined Rivian as a Product Designer. Sara worked in this role for several months before moving on to their current position as a Product Designer at Hex.

Sara K. obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Chemistry from Bryn Mawr College, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Subsequently, in 2017 to 2018, they attended Designlab and earned a certificate in UX/UI Design.
