Lisa Vaughan

Lisa Vaughan has extensive work experience in information technology. Lisa currently serves as the Executive Director of Information Technology at Hexagon US Federal. Prior to that, they worked as an Online Adjunct Instructor at The University of Southern Mississippi. From 2016 to 2021, they held the position of Chief Information Officer at the MS Dept. of Environmental Quality. Lisa has also worked as the Manager of Information Technology at the City of Huntsville, AL, and as the Director of Information Technology and Support at Texas Children's Hospital. Lisa has held various roles at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, including Director of IT Operations and Manager of Data and Voice Communications. Earlier in their career, Lisa held positions such as Director of Information Technology and GIS at Harrison County, Director of Project Services at Pileum Corporation, Director of Information Technology at L-3 Vertex Aerospace, and SAP Applications Manager at Aluma-Form.

Lisa Vaughan has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Millsaps College. Lisa also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Organizational Management from Crichton College in Memphis, TN. Prior to their bachelor's degree, Lisa obtained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Computer Programming from East Mississippi Community College. Additionally, they have two certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) obtained from (ISC)² in January 2013 and Project Management Professional (PMP) obtained from the Project Management Institute in August 2011.
