Jeffrey Britt

Jeffrey Britt has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on LED component development and wafer technology. Jeffrey started their career at MTS Syntech as an Applications Engineer in 1996.

Britt then joined Cree, Inc. in 1997, where they held various positions in the Materials Division, LED Optoelectronics Division, and LED Components Division. As a Process Development Manager in the Materials Division, they played a key role in the development of SiC wafer technology, significantly increasing the output and capabilities of wafer production.

In the LED Optoelectronics Division, Britt served as a Process and Equipment Development Manager, leading a team in equipment design, procurement, installation, and qualification. Jeffrey also held the role of Product/Process Development Manager, leading a team in the development and launch of new LED chips.

In the LED Components Division, Britt served as a Product Development Manager and played a crucial role in expanding the LED component offering, resulting in significant revenue growth.

Since 2016, Britt has been working at HexaTech, Inc. as a Senior Engineer/Operations Manager. In this role, they are responsible for managing Aluminum Nitride wafer production, including process and product development. Jeffrey also serves as the Operations and Engineering Manager for all Crystal Growth and Wafer Operations and is a key member of the Crystal Growth research and development team.
