Jayanthi M possesses extensive experience in the fields of intellectual property and academia, beginning as a Teacher at Modern Matriculation Higher Secondary School, where high school Physics, Chemistry, and Biology were taught. Jayanthi transitioned to IIT Madras as a Graduate Trainee before advancing to roles at Intas Biopharmaceuticals as an Assistant Manager specializing in Intellectual Property Management and as a Registered Patent Agent, responsible for drafting and filing numerous patent applications and preparing prior art search reports. Subsequent positions included Patent Attorney at De Penning & De Penning, IPR Professional at Acebright Pharmaceuticals, and Patent Professional at Gopakumar Nair Associates. Currently, Jayanthi serves as a Domain Consultant at Hexaware Technologies, focusing on Regulatory and Labeling Strategy for Medical Devices. Educational qualifications include a PGDPL in Patents Law from NALSAR University of Law, an MBA in Intellectual Property Rights from the National Institute of Management, and B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry from the University of Madras and Madurai Kamaraj University, respectively.
