Danny Groves

Danny Groves is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data science and engineering. Currently serving as Head of Data Science and Data Engineering Team Lead at Hexegic since April 2022, Danny has prior experience at MBDA as a Data Scientist, where expertise in predictive and analytical tools was applied. A contractor role at the Office for National Statistics involved developing a big-data pipeline using Pyspark, enhancing the analysis of VAT data. Earlier roles include a Data Scientist position at the Office for National Statistics focusing on GDP research and a Lecturer position at Cardiff University, where methods from Danny's PhD thesis were progressed. Danny holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and a BSc in Mathematics, both from Cardiff University.
