Brian Derenzo

Brian Derenzo has held various finance and audit roles throughout their career. Brian began their career at Deloitte & Touche as an Audit Senior, where they worked with multiple clients in different industries. Brian then joined Chiquita Brands International as an Audit Senior, performing various audit functions and improving internal controls. Brian later moved to NCR Corporation, where they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst and an Audit Manager, overseeing audits in Asia, Australia, and other regions. Brian then joined Limited Brands, Inc. as an Audit Manager, focusing on internal controls and financial reporting. Brian then served as the Assistant Controller at Dominion Homes, Inc., managing FP&A duties and improving processes for cost accounting and payroll. Following that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Stonecraft Builders, Inc., where they were responsible for all financial aspects of three corporations and implemented new procedures. Currently, Brian is the Finance Director at Hexion Inc., leading the finance team and managing the financial aspects of multiple business units.

Brian Derenzo obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting/Finance from Wright State University, graduating in 1992. Brian has since acquired several certifications throughout their career, including becoming a Certified Public Accountant in 1998, a Certified Management Accountant in 2005, a Six Sigma Green Belt in 2010, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant in 2012. In 2022, they obtained a certification titled "The Secret: What Great Leaders Know and Do" from LinkedIn.
