Jie Yu

Jie Yu is a Process Research Engineer at Hexion Inc. since June 2017, with prior experience as a Senior Process Engineer at Bechtel Corporation from October 2016 to February 2017 and a Process Technologist at Bechtel Oil, Gas, & Chemicals from November 2010 to June 2016. In these roles, Jie Yu focused on process design and simulation for gas treating, conditioning, and liquefying, addressing various aspects such as acid gas removal, dehydration, and emission control. Jie Yu also served as a Postdoc Research Associate at Rice University from May 2009 to October 2010, where the research involved fabricating carbon-based nanoparticles for oilfield residue detection. Jie Yu earned a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Rice University (2002-2008) and a Bachelor's Degree from Tsinghua University.
