Jean-François Roy began their career in 2001 as a Hardware Designer at Octasic. In 2005, they moved to Victhom Human Bionics, where they were an ASIC Designer. In 2006, they held two positions simultaneously, Complex Electronic Hardware Designer at CMC Electronics and CTO and Co-Founder at Hexoskin Wearable Body Metrics. In 2010, they became the CEO of Tinnitus Laboratory Inc.
Jean-François Roy received their B. Eng. in Electrical Engineering (Electronic & Telecommunication) from Polytechnique Montréal in 2001, followed by their M.Sc.A in Biomedical & Microelectronic Engineering from the same university in 2006.
