Simon Dubeau

Simon Dubeau is a seasoned Biomedical Modelling Specialist with extensive experience in the biomedical field, currently working at Hexoskin since November 2012. Responsibilities include leading a breathing-rate validation study, developing signal processing algorithms, designing tests for biomedical device certification, and collaborating on biomedical device development for the Canadian Space Agency, as well as programming in Python for data processing. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Professional at the Montreal Heart Institute, focusing on biomedical imaging systems and animal experimentation, and an internship at Sophion Bioscience A/S, where electrophysiological recording and flow simulations were conducted. Simon holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Université de Montréal, and a B.Eng. in Engineering Physics from Polytechnique Montréal, complemented by a student exchange at Lund Institute of Technology.
