Hanna Shanes

Hanna Shanes has a diverse work history spanning across various industries and roles. Most recently, they joined Hexure in 2023 as the VP of Compliance & Security. Prior to that, in 2022, they founded Hannadroit LLC where they served as the Managing Director & Principal. Hanna also worked as the Director of IT Operations & Compliance at Urbint from 2022 to 2023. Hanna'sexperience includes working as the VP of Strategic Initiatives at Akerna Corp. from 2021 to 2022, and as the Chief Compliance Officer & VP of Operations at 365 Cannabis from 2019 to 2021. Before transitioning into the technology and compliance field, they worked as a Training Program Manager at Metrc LLC from 2016 to 2019. Hanna also gained experience as a Compliance Investigator at the Colorado Department of Revenue and held various roles in the United States Army, including Sergeant and Division Training Manager. Hanna began their career as an Office Coordinator at Rose Hospital Antepartum Testing Unit and later worked as a Business Account Executive at Comcast.

Hanna Shanes has a diverse education history. Hanna earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University from 2004 to 2007. In 2010 to 2011, they attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center and obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Chinese-Mandarin. Additionally, they completed an MBA program at the University of Colorado Denver from 2007 to 2008. In 2019, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
