Jennifer Barcelos

Jennifer Barcelos has held a variety of positions in the environmental sector since 2003. Jennifer began their career as a member of the SF Fundraising Team for Environment2004 in 2003. In 2006, they became an Associate for the Commonweal Institute and a Presenter for The Climate Reality Project. Jennifer also became a Fellow for Redefining Progress in 2007. In 2009, they Co-Founded Three Degrees Warmer and in 2015, they Co-Founded and became the CEO of Marvelous. In 2010, they began working as a Part-time Lecturer for the University of Washington School of Law. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Director of Law and Policy | Staff Attorney for Friends of the San Juans.

Jennifer Barcelos obtained a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley between 2001 and 2003. Jennifer then went on to earn an MESc in Environmental Science at Yale University between 2004 and 2006. After that, they attended the University of Washington School of Law, where they obtained a JD in Human Rights, Environment, and Climate Change in 2010. In March of 2022, they were certified in Viral Growth by Section4.
