Carolina Tanaka

Carolina Tanaka has extensive experience in the field of software engineering. Carolina currently holds the position of Software Engineer at heyData since September 2022.

Prior to their current role, Carolina worked as a Software Engineer at Doiim from August 2017 to February 2021. In this position, they were responsible for developing new features and maintaining a market prediction platform and crypto exchange. Carolina used Python 3 with Django 1.11 for the platform, which utilized binary event derivatives and CFDs for market predictions. Additionally, they assisted with the maintenance of the main betting platform written in NuxtJS, where they handled data communication and preprocessing from an external API.

Earlier in their career, Carolina served as a Software Engineer at MKX Virtual Stores from June 2014 to August 2017. Here, they focused on the development and maintenance of e-commerce sites using PHP 7 (OO), Smarty Template Engine, Apache HTTP Server, and MySQL. Carolina also utilized frontend technologies such as Bootstrap and jQuery.

Carolina's work experience also includes a role as a Software Analyst at Governo do Paraná - Secretaria de Estado do Esporte e do Turismo from December 2013 to July 2014. During this time, they actively participated in the development of a platform for the Paraná Olympic Talent governmental program. The platform was used for the qualification, ranking, and distribution of subsidies for selected athletes.
