Damir Mehic

Damir Mehic has a diverse background in software engineering and leadership roles. Damir is currently the Director of Engineering at heyData, where they are responsible for creating an end-to-end software solution to help SMBs become GDPR compliant. Prior to this, they worked at Legal One GmbH as an Engineering Manager, overseeing the building of software that is architecturally consistent and of high quality. Before that, they served as the Head of Engineering at Knip AG, a digital insurance broker, and also held the same position at Holycode. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Development Team Lead at High Tech Engineering Center, where they led teams in delivering high-quality solutions and contributed to the company's growth. Damir also worked as a Team Lead and Senior PHP Developer at Wireless Media, where they were involved in software architecture, database design, and development of CMS frameworks.
