🦙 Sherzod Gafar

Sherzod Gafar has a diverse range of work experiences in the fields of entrepreneurship, teaching, mentoring, and product management. 🦙 Sherzod is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Heylama, a position they started in September 2021. Prior to that, Sherzod served as a Teaching Entrepreneurship at Startup Crash Course at Technische Universität Berlin from January 2017 to August 2022. 🦙 Sherzod also worked as a Startup Mentor at APX from May 2019 to April 2022 and as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Antler from March 2021 to August 2021. Additionally, Sherzod served as a Startup Mentor at Vali Berlin from May 2020 to March 2021 and held various roles at YAS.life, including CPO - Product, Marketing, Technology from July 2019 to January 2021 and Chief Product Officer from December 2018 to July 2019. 🦙 Sherzod has also held product leadership positions at HERE Technologies, including Product Lead for Surface Data API from June 2018 to November 2018, Product Lead for Drone Location Suite from January 2018 to May 2018, and Product Manager for HERE Geovisualization from March 2017 to December 2017. Sherzod's earlier experiences include co-founding and serving as the Operations Manager at Zeboka from July 2017 to July 2018, as well as working as a Product Manager at Fonpit AG (ANDROIDPIT / APP MEDIA) from March 2016 to February 2017 and at BOOK A TIGER as a Product Manager from September 2015 to March 2016.

Sherzod Gafar pursued their education in a chronological manner. 🦙 Sherzod obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Russian Tajik Slavonic University between the years 2004 and 2008. Following that, they attended ESMT Berlin from 2014 to 2015, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management. In 2016 and 2017, Sherzod attended the University of the People, focusing on Computer Science and earning a degree referred to as "Some College."

In addition to their formal education, Sherzod obtained various certifications. In 2014, they received the Scrum Product Owner Accredited Certification from the International Scrum Institute™. In 2016, Sherzod completed the Inbound Marketing Certification offered by HubSpot. In 2017, they acquired multiple certifications, including "Design Thinking: Venture Design" and "Leading without Formal Authority" from Lynda.com, as well as "Learning Design Thinking: Lead Change in Your Organization" from the same platform. In 2020, Sherzod earned the "Digital Body Language" certification from LinkedIn and completed the "Computer Science, Harvard's CS50 course" offered by CS50. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained the "An Introduction to Marketing" certification from Coursera/Wharton Business School, and in 2012, they became an "International Debate Trainer" certified by the International Debate and Education Association.
