Floris Hekster

Floris Hekster currently serves as Vice President Operations at HF Sinclair since May 2019 and holds multiple roles, including Lid dagelijks bestuur at VNCI and Member of the supervisory board at Gezamenlijke Brandweer Amsterdam. In addition, Floris Hekster is a member of the advisory board at TET Energy Transition and has previous experience as Manager Engineering & Maintenance and Manager Engineering at Sonneborn. From March 2006 to October 2014, Floris Hekster worked at Fluor, progressing from HSE Engineering Manager to Project Engineering Manager. Earlier experience includes HSEQ Consultant at RPS Group and Researcher at the University of Amsterdam, where research on perfluoroalkylated substances was published. Floris Hekster earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Amsterdam.
