Allan Carruthers

Allan Carruthers is a seasoned operations leader currently serving as Global Operations Director at Ocado Group since January 2020, overseeing engineering operations and delivery across EMEA and APAC. With a robust background in managing extensive engineering teams and ensuring operational efficiency, Allan has held various leadership roles at Ocado, including Director of EMEA Engineering Operations and CFC General Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing the Ocado Smart Platform's implementation and day-to-day operations at a highly mechanized facility. Prior experience includes consulting for Gist Ltd, specializing in supply chain and operational change initiatives. Allan holds a 2:1 degree in Chemistry from Newcastle University.
