James Kelley

James Kelley, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Corporate Accounting at HF Sinclair, where leadership and development support are provided to 21 team members across General Accounting, Internal Controls (SOX), and Capital Administration. Prior experience includes roles at American Airlines, where responsibilities ranged from overseeing international accounting offices in Miami, Bogota, and Buenos Aires to managing SOX compliance and fuel accounting. James also worked at Austin Industries as a Senior Corporate Accountant, where monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements were prepared, and coordination with external auditors was facilitated. Additionally, James held various analytical and supervisory positions at Toys R Us, contributing to budgeting processes and talent management. James holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science from Baylor University.
