Matthew Marchant

Matthew Marchant is an accomplished attorney and executive with extensive experience in law and management. Currently serving as Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at HF Sinclair since June 2016, responsibilities include overseeing areas such as EHS, government affairs, corporate governance, and commercial contracts. Prior experience includes roles as Acting General Counsel and Senior Assistant General Counsel at the City of Carrollton, where Matthew also served as Mayor from 2011 to 2017, contributing to executive management and economic development. As a Partner at Strasburger & Price, LLP, Matthew managed corporate, finance, real estate, and regulatory law matters for national and multinational clients. Matthew holds a Juris Doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Business Administration from Southern Nazarene University.
