Mihai Bote has extensive experience in the field of information technology and hospitality. Mihai is currently working as a Program Director at Amadeus, overseeing the delivery of integrated hospitality solutions to large-scale accounts. Mihai provides leadership and guidance to cross-functional project teams and ensures smooth operations.
Mihai also serves as a member of the CX Program Advisory Panel at the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. In this role, they offer expert guidance and helps build value for the business community.
In the past, Mihai has held various leadership positions in companies such as Swire Hotels, The Carillon Hotel and Spa, Canyon Ranch Hotel and Spa Miami Beach, Camco Cable and Satellite, Turnberry Isle Resort & Club, and Romtelecom. In these roles, they have managed technology teams, implemented infrastructure and systems, and promoted innovation and excellence in operations.
Mihai Bote has a diverse education history. In 2023, they completed a program in Applied Generative AI for Digital Transformation at MIT Professional Education, focusing on Artificial Intelligence. In 2019 and 2020, Mihai obtained a Certified Government Chief Information Officer degree from Rutgers University, specializing in Information Technology. Mihai also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Pedagogy, which they earned from Babes-Bolyai University between 1993 and 1999. Additionally, Mihai obtained a Professional Degree in I.T. and Telecommunications from the "George Baritiu" Telecommunication and Electronics Professional School from 1988 to 1990. Mihai has also received various certifications, including Azure AI: The Big Picture and Applied Generative AI for Digital Transformation from MIT Professional Education. Mihai also holds other certifications related to program management, team collaboration, emotional intelligence, and project planning and execution. Moreover, they obtained a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in 2015, and a Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP) certification from HFTP in 2014.
