Sebastian Klapdor is a seasoned technology and data executive with extensive experience in AI, data strategy, and digital transformation. Currently serving as the Portfolio Chief AI Officer at Hg, Sebastian focuses on integrating AI into core products and driving financial impact. As the Founder and Expert Advisor at TransformX Group, efforts are directed towards generating value through AI and data strategy development. Previously, as EVP of Technology & Data at Vista, Sebastian led a global engineering organization and was responsible for significant data transformation initiatives as the first-generation Chief Data Officer. With a partnership at McKinsey & Company, responsibilities included advancing data-driven business impact for global clients. Sebastian's early career included founding k&p Beratung+Service GmbH to support the healthcare sector. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Digital Marketing and Quantitative Methods and a Master's in Finance and Information Management, both from the Technical University of Munich.
