Kurt Krieger

Kurt is the functional general counsel and chief compliance officer of HGGC. He also serves as the corporate secretary of the firm’s portfolio holding companies and fund entities. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Capital Impact Foundation, HGGC’s affiliated private foundation. In addition, he serves or has served on the boards of various HGGC portfolio companies. His private equity experience includes fund, investment and operational activities across a broad range of industries.

Prior to joining HGGC, Kurt was International Legal Counsel for a worldwide not-for-profit organization, where he was responsible for legal affairs and government relations, residing first in Africa and later in Mexico. Previously, Kurt worked with private equity firms and individual companies on mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, as well as regulatory matters in a variety of industries.
