Elana Freedman P.e.

Elana Freedman, P.E. has a strong work experience in the field of engineering. Elana started their career as an Intern at Norfast Consulting in 2005, followed by another internship at HDR in 2006. In 2007, they joined HDR as a Structural Engineer, where they were responsible for designing various structural systems and components. Elana performed analyses, design calculations, and utilized software tools like MDX, STAAD, LARSA, AutoCad, and Microstation to develop construction documents. Elana also carried out in-depth inspections of existing conditions and coordinated with other disciplines. Elana continued working at HDR until 2015, where they held the position of Associate and Senior Bridge Engineer at Hardesty & Hanover, LLC.

Elana Freedman, P.E. attended Syracuse University from 2002 to 2007. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy.
