Tomas Perez, P.E. has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Tomas started their career as an intern at the Rhode Island Department of Transportation in 2012. Tomas then worked as an intern at Steere Engineering, Inc. while completing their studies. After graduating, they joined Steere Engineering, Inc. as a Structural Engineer/Project Manager in May 2013 and worked there until December 2018. In December 2018, Tomas joined Stantec as a Bridge Engineer, where they worked until August 2021. Currently, they are working at Hardesty & Hanover, LLC as a Bridge Engineer starting from September 2021. Additionally, Tomas has also gained experience as a Math and Physics Tutor at the University of Rhode Island, where they worked from November 2011 to May 2012.

Tomas Perez, P.E. began their education in engineering at the Community College of Rhode Island from 2008 to 2011, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Engineering. Tomas then progressed to the University of Rhode Island and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from 2011 to 2013. Tomas further pursued their studies at the University of Rhode Island and attained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Structural Engineering from 2013 to 2014.
