Mariah West

Mariah West, CNM, has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Mariah currently holds the position of Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at HHM Health since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Origins Birth and Wellness Birth Center as a Certified Nurse Midwife/Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from June 2021 to August 2022. Mariah also gained experience as a Registered Nurse at Women's Center Detroit from January 2020 to July 2020, where they provided post-operative recovery care and contraception counseling for women in Metro Detroit. Before that, they worked at Beaumont Health as a Registered Nurse from January 2019 to May 2019, specializing in labor management, electronic fetal monitoring, and providing safe care to laboring women. Mariah's career in healthcare started at Generations Ob Gyn as a Registered Nurse from November 2017 to December 2018. Prior to entering the healthcare field, they worked as a Banquet Server at Cascade Hills Country Club from April 2014 to December 2016.

Mariah West, CNM earned their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General from Grand Valley State University in 2016. Mariah also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the same institution during the same period. In 2018, Mariah pursued their Master's degree in Nurse Midwife/Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from Georgetown University, completing it in 2020. Additionally, Mariah West has obtained several certifications, including Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) from GE in October 2018, Neonatal Resuscitation Program from the American Academy of Pediatrics in June 2021, and BLS CPR Certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in July 2020.
