Christos Motsiopoulos

Christos Motsiopoulos serves as the Director of the Office of Program Audit Coordination at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services since 2016, where strategic initiatives have led to enhanced collaboration across agencies and improved fiscal responsibility regarding taxpayer payments. Previously, Motsiopoulos held various roles at the Social Security Administration from 2008 to 2016, including Senior Policy Advisor and Director of the Office of Statistical Analysis and Support, where contributions involved high-level policy analysis and development of significant statistical programs. Additional experience includes serving as Deputy Director at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and as an Adjunct Faculty member teaching statistics and actuarial mathematics at Stevenson University. Motsiopoulos holds a Master of Science in Business Technology Management from Stevenson University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
