Laurie Williams

Laurie Williams is an experienced HR professional with a diverse background in human capital strategy, employee engagement, and project management. Currently serving as the HR Team Lead at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Laurie leads HR operations and employee engagement for over 330 staff members across five divisions. Previously, Laurie was an HR Program Manager at GSA, developing human capital strategies for a staff of more than 250, and served as a Placement Supervisor at Peace Corps, where the execution of a yearly hiring strategy for approximately 5,500 Volunteers was a key responsibility. Laurie's earlier roles include positions in education and account management, demonstrating a strong ability to build relationships and optimize workflows across various sectors. Laurie holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs Journalism from The Ohio State University.
