Patrick Ashley

Patrick Ashley serves as the Deputy Chancellor for Finance and Operations and Chief of the Office of Fiscal Strategy at the District of Columbia Public Schools since June 2023. Concurrently, an Administration and Finance Officer for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Incident Management Team since October 2019. Prior roles include Senior Deputy Director at the DC Department of Health and Program Manager III at the Virginia Department of Health. Experience also includes positions as Operations Director and Assistant Coach at DC Strokes Rowing Club, Senior Project Manager at Northern Virginia Emergency Response System, and Emergency Preparedness and Response Coordinator at the Virginia Department of Health. Patrick began a Doctor of Law and Policy program at Northeastern University in September 2021, following an MBA from LSU Shreveport and a Master's in Safety, Security, and Emergency Management from Eastern Kentucky University, along with a Bachelor's in Homeland Security Emergency Preparedness from Virginia Commonwealth University.
