Vinod Mitta

Vinod Mitta serves as the Director of the Seamless Care Models Group at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Innovation Center since 2022. With extensive experience as a Primary Care Physician since 2016, Vinod held the position of Vice President at Medallion from 2021 to 2022 and previously served as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Oscar Health from July 2014 to June 2020. Early career experiences include an internship at the U.S. Department of State in 2008 and a role as Associate Consultant at Bain & Company from 2005 to 2006. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a BA/MD in International Political Economy from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, and The General Course in International Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
