Christopher Samaras possesses extensive experience in engineering and product development, currently serving as Global Engineering Director at Hi-Cone since September 2005. In this role, Christopher has led significant product transformations with a focus on enhancing environmental impact and reducing virgin plastic usage. Responsibilities have included directing strategic technology roadmaps, managing R&D and field service teams, and developing talent through an engineering progression tool. Previous positions at Hi-Cone include Research and Development Engineering Manager and Project Engineer, where Christopher successfully oversaw various projects and teams, ensuring compliance and on-time delivery. Earlier experience includes a role as Manufacturing/NPI Engineer at Flextronics, focusing on prototype evaluation and cost-reducing techniques. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
