HI-LEX CORPORATION is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of control cables and accessories for the remote operation of motorcycles and automobiles, industrial equipment, residential equipment and ships. The Company has five geographical segments: Japan, North America(United States and Mexico), China, Asia(mainly South Korea, Indonesia and India), and Europe(United Kingdom, Hungary, Russia, Germany) based on the production and sales systems. The Japan segment also engages in the production and sale of medical equipment, besides control systems. As of October 31, 2014, the Company has 35 subsidiaries and seven affiliates.
