Szabolcs Fodor

Szabolcs Fodor, Ph.D., is an experienced professional in control systems and robotics, currently serving as Principal Expert in Control Systems at Hiab since December 2017, following roles as Senior Control System Engineer and Control System Engineer. Prior to this, Szabolcs worked at Umeå University from September 2012 to October 2017 as a Ph.D. candidate and R&D engineer specializing in Robotics and Automatic Control. Szabolcs began a career as an R&D Engineer at Continental from January 2011 to August 2012, contributing to the Hydraulics Simulation team on hydraulic brake systems, and earlier served as an R&D Engineer at CNRS from December 2009 to December 2010, focusing on tele-operation algorithms and haptic devices. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Automatic Control and Robotics from Umeå University, alongside engineering degrees from the University of Manitoba and Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universitatea „Petru Maior” din Târgu-Mureș.
