Evanthia P.

Evanthia P. has a diverse range of work experience in the legal field. Evanthia is currently working as a Lawyer at HIAS since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Protection Assistant at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency from February 2020 to January 2021. Evanthia also served as a Lesvos Team Leader at Danish Refugee Council / Dansk Flygtningehjælp from February 2019 to February 2020, and as a Legal Aid Officer at the same organization from August 2017 to February 2019. Evanthia gained experience as a Legal Trainee at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights from February 2016 to January 2017. Before that, they worked as a Legal Intern at RA Dr. Marco Bruns, NGO Aitima, and Nikolaos Garnelis, Lawyer - Athens Bar Association. Overall, Evanthia has a strong legal background and has held various positions in both international organizations and legal firms.

Evanthia P. obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, where they studied from 2007 to 2014. Evanthia also attended The Philipp University of Marburg from 2011 to 2012 as part of their bachelor's degree program. In 2014, they completed their Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at Justus Liebig University Giessen.
