Amarpreet Singh Matharu has over a decade of experience in the field of optical networking and systems support. Currently serving as an Engineering and Planning Optical Network Engineer at Hibernia Networks since July 2011, Amarpreet specializes in optical networking design, including DWDM circuit design and delivery. Previously, Amarpreet worked as a Tier-2 Systems Support Engineer in the Global Network Management Centre, focusing on incident handling, alarm monitoring, and troubleshooting. Prior to this role, Amarpreet was a Network Provisioning and Optimization Engineer at Global Cloud Xchange from February 2009 to June 2011, contributing to network planning and optimization initiatives. Amarpreet holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from the University of Mumbai, completed in 2008.
