Lior Schapiro

Lior Schapiro is a Back-end Developer at Hibob since August 2021, bringing expertise in software development. Prior to this role, Lior served as a Research Assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from August 2020 to August 2021, contributing to the understanding of genes related to early onset neurodegenerative diseases through machine learning algorithms. Lior has substantial experience in military intelligence, having worked as an Intelligence Analyst and Researcher in the Research Department of Israeli Military Intelligence from September 2015 to October 2018, where responsibilities included data analysis, formulation, and presentations for high-ranking positions. Lior holds a degree in Computer Science and Computational Biology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, obtained between 2018 and 2021.
