Erik Mattingly has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Erik worked as a Communication Security Equipment Technician in the United States Marine Corps from 1994 to 1999. Following their military service, they joined Ascom Americas as a Test Engineer from 2004 to 2006. Erik then worked at HICAPS, Inc. as a Project Engineer specializing in Motorola 800MHZ public safety radio systems from 2006 to 2010. At Wells Global, LLC, Erik served as a Project Engineer and Manager from 2010 to 2017, responsible for emergency power system design and installation at FAA and DOD facilities. In 2017, they became the Managing Director at HICAPS, Inc.
Erik Mattingly's education history begins in 2000 when they enrolled at the University of North Carolina Wilmington to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Erik attended this institution until 2002 but did not obtain a degree.
Following this, Erik joined North Carolina State University in 2002 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2004.
