Joel Wilson

Joel Wilson has extensive work experience in the field of building diagnostics and construction consulting. Joel began their career in 1997 as a Project Consultant at RV Buric Construction Consultants, Inc, where they conducted site investigations, issued expert reports, and managed repairs for over 500 commercial and residential structures. Joel also performed ASTM 1105 water testing and provided testimony for litigation cases. In 2007, Joel joined HICAPS, Inc. as a Project Engineer for the Building Diagnostics Division. Joel'sresponsibilities included building condition assessments, moisture intrusion surveys, replacement cost estimating, project planning, and superintendent duties for construction. Joel also served as a safety officer and was involved in various quality assurance initiatives.

Joel Wilson obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Marine Technology from Cape Fear Community College in the years 1986 to 1988. Joel then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology at UNC Wilmington from 1988 to 1990.
