Jennifer Barrett has extensive experience in risk management and insurance. Jennifer began their career as a Commercial Account Executive at Smith Bell & Thompson in 2003, where they worked until 2007. Jennifer then joined Pizzagalli Construction Company as an Insurance Manager from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Hickok & Boardman Insurance Group as the Director of Workers Compensation Risk Management. Jennifer was later promoted to Director of Risk Management and currently holds the position of Vice President, Director of Risk Management.
Jennifer Barrett obtained a Diploma from South Burlington High School, attending from 1995 to 1999. Jennifer later pursued additional certifications, including a Certified Risk Manager (CRM) from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, obtained in April 2021. Jennifer also acquired the designation of Workers Compensation Professional (WCP) from the American Society of Workers' Compensation Professionals (AMCOMP) in May 2022. Other certifications include the CRIS designation from IRMI in August 2008 and becoming a Licensed P&C Agent from the State of Vermont in November 2009. Although the information does not specify the dates of obtaining the Licensed Workers Compensation Adjuster and RWCS certifications, Jennifer holds these qualifications as well.
