Dave Vergato

David Vergato is an accomplished music educator and performer with extensive experience in both teaching and conducting orchestral and band programs. Currently serving as the Orchestra Director at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, David has held roles in various educational institutions, including positions as an adjunct professor at Winthrop University and a music instructor at Bradford Preparatory School and Northside Christian Academy. In addition to these educational roles, David is an active freelance bass player and has been part of the music staff at Hickory Grove Baptist Church since 2008. With a strong educational foundation, culminating in ongoing doctoral studies in Music Education at Liberty University, David Vergato possesses a wealth of expertise in music theory, jazz, and instrumental instruction, as well as a commitment to enhancing music programs in educational settings.
