Kyler Smith serves as the Senior Associate Pastor at Hickory Grove Baptist Church since July 2012, bringing extensive experience in pastoral roles, previously as Pastor of Children and Families at Harvard Avenue Baptist Church from December 2008 to July 2012. Academic accomplishments include a Doctor of Philosophy in Preaching and a Master of Theology in Pedagogy from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from John Brown University, complemented by a High School Diploma from Oklahoma Christian School.

At Hickory Grove Baptist Church our mission is to Exalt Christ, Make Disciples, and Pass the Torch. Hickory Grove Baptist Church has three campus locations in the Charlotte area. The Main Campus is located at the corner of Hickory Grove Road and Harris Blvd in east Charlotte. The second location is our North Campus which is located off of I-85 in north Charlotte and is less than one mile behind Concord Mills Mall. This location includes a worship service for our Latin American congregation. The third campus is our Latin American campus located on Harris Blvd. There are several ways you can check out our services before you decide to come.
