Wayne Alexander

Wayne Alexander is a seasoned technology specialist with over two decades of experience in IT support and management. Currently serving as a Technology Specialist and Support Analyst at Hickory Public Schools since May 2011, Wayne oversees end-user technical issues across the entire district and manages IT documentation. Previously, as a Senior IT Support Analyst at Computer Task Group, Wayne was responsible for high-level technical issue resolution and streamlined PC build processes, while also mentoring team members. Wayne's earlier roles include Desktop Support Analyst at Corning Cable Systems, where responsibilities included migrating users to Active Directory and providing infrastructure support, and Technical Support Advisor at Wave Communications. Wayne holds a BS in Management Information Systems from Gardner-Webb University and an AS in Information Systems from Catawba Valley Community College.
