Rita Akushie

Rita Akushie is the current director at HICL Infrastructure. Prior to this, they were the CFO at Cancer Research UK from January 2019 to September 2020. Before that, they were the Interim CFO at Sovereign Housing Association from October 2018 to December 2018. Rita has also been the Group Finance Director at Thames Valley Housing Association from April 2017 to August 2018. From May 2004 to March 2017, they served as Deputy Chief Executive/Group Finance Director at Newlon Housing Trust. Additionally, Rita has also held the position of Finance Director at Gateway Housing Association from May 1999 to May 2004 and Financial Controller at Springboard Housing Association from March 1996 to May 1998.

Rita Akushie's educational career includes earning a FCA from ICAEW, a Non-Executive Director Diploma from the Financial Times, an FCT in Advanced Diploma in Corporate Finance from the Association of Corporate Treasurers, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Ghana. Rita also attended Wesley Girls' High School.
