Björn Lidefelt

Björn Lidefelt is the current CEO at HID Global. Björn has held various positions at ASSA ABLOY Group from June 2005 to May 2011, including General Manager of ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Malaysia from February 2011 to February 2013. In February 2013, they were promoted to General Manager of ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions China and held that position until June 2016. From June 2016 to January 2020, they served as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for the group, responsible for branding, corporate communication, commercial price and sales development, and corporate strategy.

Björn Lidefelt completed a Master of Science in Engineering/Industrial Management from The Institute of Technology at Linköping University. Björn also completed a Leadership Development Program in Business Administration and Management, General, from IMD Business School. For their Master Thesis, they studied Mergers & Acquisition from ETH Zürich. Björn also did an exchange program in Engineering/Industrial Management from Fachhochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin. Lastly, they did Mixed studies in Law from Linköping University.
