Laura Bates

Laura Bates has extensive work experience in the legal field. Laura most recently worked as General Counsel at Hidden Road, starting in December 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Legal Advisor at ConneXXion Markets from July 2019 to January 2021. Laura also worked as a Senior Consultant - Derivatives & Prime at Dentons from May 2019 to January 2021. Before that, Laura was a CASS Coordinator/SME at BNP Paribas from June 2018 to April 2019. Laura also worked as a self-employed Senior Legal Consultant from October 2016 to June 2018. Laura's earlier experience includes roles as Director and counsel at Citi from September 2007 to August 2016, and as an Associate at Denton Wilde Sapte from August 2002 to October 2007.

Laura Bates began their education at the University of East Anglia in 1998, where they pursued a degree in Law, specifically focusing on the field of Law. Laura completed their undergraduate studies in 2001. Following this, in 2001 to 2002, Laura attended The University of Law to obtain their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree, although the field of study for this program was not specified. In 2017 and 2018, they furthered their education at Sheffield Hallam University, where they earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Autism and Aspergers. Most recently, from 2019 to 2021, Laura attended London South Bank University, where they completed a Master's degree in Education with a specialization in Autism.
