Andrew Hidi

Andrew Hidi is the current Chief Executive Officer at HIDI. Prior to this, they worked as a Fire Protection System Designer at General Sprinklers Inc from April 2016 to February 2018. In this role, they were responsible for performing equipment selections and system design for Fire Protection Systems, as well as designing fire protection sprinkler systems using AutoCAD with accordance to NFPA13 and OBC. Andrew also supported project managers and design managers by preparing and delivering submittal packages and ensuring that scopes, budgets, and schedules were met. In addition, they redesigned sprinkler systems from existing systems already in place and created and edited CAD drawings of riser schematic diagrams & sprinkler plans. Andrew also performed hydraulic calculations with pressure restraints using software to ensure that the sprinkler systems would not fail. Lastly, they communicated with clients and general contractors to answer technical questions and to coordinate interferences with other trades.
