Abdulbaset Al Janahi

Abdulbaset Al Janahi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and business development in Dubai. Since 2002, Abdulbaset has served as the CEO of Dubai SME, focusing on enhancing the ecosystem for SMEs and entrepreneurship in the region. In addition to this role, Abdulbaset is currently a Board Member at M Pay and holds the positions of Vice Chairman and CEO at Tejuri.com as well as CEO at Business Village LLC, both since 2015 and 2005 respectively. Earlier in the career, Abdulbaset was instrumental as the CEO and Board Member at Aswaaq, where the concept was developed, and served as Executive Director of Development at the Dubai Development & Investment Authority. As a founding member of TECOM and General Coordinator of Government Agencies at the Department of Economic Development, Abdulbaset contributed significantly to major initiatives like the Dubai Shopping Festival.
