Wei Yu Yang

Wei Yu Yang is a Software Engineer with expertise in various technologies and software development frameworks. Currently, Wei Yu Yang is employed at HIFI since April 2024. Previously, Wei Yu Yang served as the Head of Technology at AlumAi Inc, leading the migration of a React-based website to Next.js. Wei Yu Yang also has experience as a Software Engineer at the Ministry of Health and Welfare Shuang-Ho Hospital, where a Pytorch image classification model was developed, and a Django back-end service was created to enhance workflow efficiency. Early experience includes a Software Engineer Intern position at D8AI Inc., focusing on PyTorch models for speaker verification and text-to-speech technology, as well as a summer internship at Medtronic, improving data quality for over 20 million patients. Wei Yu Yang holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from Cornell Tech and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Taipei Medical University.
